Welcome to Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all services provided by the clinic, including in-person consultations, online (telepsychiatry) services, psychological assessments, therapy sessions, and use of our website or digital platforms.

By booking an appointment, visiting the clinic, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are advised not to use our services.

Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic provides professional mental health services including psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, psychotherapy, de-addiction services, and psychological assessments. These services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals following accepted clinical and ethical standards.

While every effort is made to provide accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, mental health care is complex and outcomes may vary from person to person. The clinic does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from any treatment or therapy.

All information shared through consultations, the clinic's website, social media platforms, or educational materials is intended for informational and clinical support purposes only. It should not be considered a substitute for emergency medical care or independent medical judgment.

If a patient is experiencing a psychiatric or medical emergency, including suicidal thoughts, severe behavioral disturbances, or acute distress, they must immediately seek help from the nearest hospital or emergency service. Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic does not provide emergency crisis intervention services.

Appointments at the clinic are scheduled in advance to ensure proper time and attention for each patient. Patients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Delays may lead to reduced consultation time or rescheduling, depending on availability.

In case a patient needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, it is expected that they inform the clinic at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so, or repeated missed appointments without notice, may result in cancellation charges or refusal of future bookings at the clinic's discretion.

All services provided by Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic are chargeable as per the clinic's prevailing fee structure. Consultation fees, therapy charges, assessment costs, and other service-related fees must be paid in full.

For online consultations, payment must be made in advance before the session is confirmed. The clinic reserves the right to modify its fee structure at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect appointments that have already been booked and paid for.

Fees once paid are generally non-refundable, except under specific circumstances determined solely by the clinic management.

The clinic is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of all patient information. All personal, medical, and psychological details shared during consultations are kept strictly confidential in accordance with professional ethics and applicable laws.

However, confidentiality may be breached under the following circumstances:

• If there is a risk of harm to the patient or others
• If disclosure is required by law or legal authorities
• If the patient provides explicit consent for sharing information

For online consultations, while secure platforms are used, the clinic cannot guarantee complete protection from technical breaches beyond its control.

Patients are expected to actively participate in their treatment process. This includes providing accurate and complete information about their medical history, symptoms, medications, and lifestyle factors.

Patients are responsible for following prescribed treatment plans, taking medications as advised, and attending follow-up appointments as recommended. Any side effects, worsening symptoms, or concerns should be promptly communicated to the treating doctor.

Respectful behavior toward clinic staff and professionals is expected at all times. Any form of abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct may result in termination of services.

Teleconsultation services are provided for convenience and accessibility, but they are suitable only for non-emergency situations. The effectiveness of online consultations depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information shared by the patient.

Technical issues such as poor internet connectivity, device malfunction, or platform errors may affect the quality or continuity of the consultation. The clinic is not liable for disruptions caused by such technical problems.

Prescriptions provided during teleconsultations will be in accordance with applicable telemedicine guidelines and legal regulations in India.

Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic and its professionals shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential outcomes arising from:

• Misinterpretation or misuse of medical advice
• Non-compliance with prescribed treatment
• Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the patient
• Delays in seeking appropriate care

Mental health treatment outcomes vary, and no guarantees are made regarding recovery or improvement.

All content available through the clinic's website, including text, design, graphics, logos, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of this content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Happy Minds Psychiatry Clinic reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be effective immediately upon being published.

Continued use of the clinic's services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
